According to data from Ookla, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has faster 5G speeds than any Android phone on the market.
According to MacWorld , Ookla (the developer of Speedtest) has just tested the performance of 5G network access on various phone models in 10 countries with the fastest connection speeds in the world, including the US and UK.

The results showed that the iPhone 14 Pro Max topped the chart with an average download speed of 177.21Mbps in the US and 171.24Mbps in the UK. iPhone 14 Pro is no less than its brother with an average download speed of 175.08Mbps in the US and 158.24Mbps in the UK.
Notably, the top 5 fastest 5G-connected phones in the UK are all iPhones. The iPhone 13 Pro Max dropped to second place in Ookla's test, lying between the 14 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro with an average download speed of 165.49Mbps. Then there are iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 Pro.
In the US, iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro continue to lead the chart. 3rd place belongs to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, losing about 8% compared to the top position.
The iPhone 14 series is equipped with the same Snapdragon X65 5G modem as most high-end Android phones. There are rumors that Apple is designing its own 5G modem and could put it into use from 2024.
